Do you remember Chas and Di’s fateful day with joy or horror? If it’s joy this event is probably not for you. If you want to get away from street parties and bunting and have a nice picnic alongside hearing some new writing – this event is probably for you.
We are having a totally open mic policy – so come along with your Royal Wedding themed poems, stories, songs and be prepared to read them.
We will do a raffle with some suitably Republican prizes and there’s a competition to design your own coat of arms!
Bring a picnic, bring a rug, bring some writing.
Look out for the French flag on the Esplanade!!
Bring your umbrella-ella, as we’ll forge ahead come rain or shine!
Starts 2pm, Friday 29 April, Rochester Esplanade, ME1. (Google map.)
